Platform Display System

The GeoFocus Platform Display System (PDS) includes control functions at the station platform to provide audio and text to an array of Public Address System and Textual display systems that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The PDS provides optional dual platform control with independent messaging and allows multiple announcements to be played independently through the system. Messages may be played on a priority basis, allowing high priority messages to interrupt standard messages – a valuable feature in times of an emergency!

The PDS is fully network compatible via an integrated network card that allows use on Frame Relay and Ethernet networks from 56K and up. Monitor and keyboard ports allow for fast on-site analysis of the system performance. Compact and rugged solid state design allows for stand-alone installations in harsh environments. Its QNX operating system offers a mature, stable platform for maintenance-free operation. The PDS is fully remote controllable with Telnet and FTP interfaces that allow for remote software diagnostics and updates.

PA Amplifier System

The PDS supports industry standard PA amplifier and exterior speakers which are configured applicable to the size and location of the station.

Signage Displays

The platform display configuration is based on customer requirements. GeoFocus can support any sign manufacturers displays provided that the sign protocol is made available.
