Where We Are Today

In June 2001, Sumitomo Corporation of America (SCOA) secured the assets of GeoFocus, Inc. from Williams Controls Inc., and formed GeoFocus LLC. Our office is located in Boca Raton, Florida at the Florida Atlantic University Research and Development Park.

GeoFocus LLC continues to provide state-of-the-art wireless GIS/GPS applications to the transportation industry giving customers timely, accurate, flexible and measurable technology to meet their individual information needs.

GeoFocus reaps numerous benefits from its association with Sumitomo’s Transportation Division and its expertise in transportation-related projects worldwide. This synergy gives GeoFocus the edge to instantly respond to evolving business environments and customer needs while enjoying the financial security of a large corporation with over one billion dollars in assets.

With the backing of our parent company, Sumitomo, GeoFocus has expanded its capabilities to include complete offering of on-train communications systems for OEM new car builds. GeoFocus provides a complete integrated communications systems including: AVL, radio, intercom, video cameras/recorders and monitors, PA systems, displays, automatic passenger counting, train line networks, Monitoring and Diagnostic and Event Recorder systems.
